Injury Prevention Coaching ✨
Keep her safe and confident. Stay bendy. Stay strong.
If your gymnast could fix floppy form, dunk her ankle braces in the trash, AND find confidence that makes her coaches ask, “What is she doing differently?!” You’d want to know more, right?
Through virtual training, gymnasts skyrocket their body awareness, balance, and even their tumbling height within just 3 months of working together (but it doesn’t end there).
You’ve got a hard worker, a passionate athlete.
Now we just need to set her on the right path to keep her thriving🥇
Sound familiar? 🤔
Coach’s corrections aren’t sticking 🫤
Your gymnast just can’t seem to feel that her legs aren’t together, straight, or with pointed toes.
Her confidence is tanking 📉
You’re worried about frustration, burnout, injuries, or “aging out” before she reaches her peak.
She’s riding the pain train 🚂
Her braces, tape, and recovery tools are multiplying… but nothing truly fixes the problem.
Or you want to get ahead of it all 💪🏼
You see talent, but you’re worried she’s too hard on herself or that hypermobility or injuries might hold her back.
Who this is for ❤️🩹
This high-touch, big-impact training is for parents of gymnasts who value long-term results over quick-fixes. Parents who want their daughters to have:
✅ Less pain
✅ Better body awareness
✅ More strength & stability
✅ Faster skill acquisition
✅ Athletic longevity
⚙️ How It Works:
Done on her schedule.
All workouts are done on her own time through the Splits & Lifts app (using workout videos featuring real gymnasts!)
Encouragement on tap.
Monthly encouragement calls help correct form & improve mindset.
A coach in her pocket.
Any time, she can ask questions (and send videos!) about workout form, and even get feedback on skills & routines.
Progress on paper.
Every 6 weeks, she gets a virtual assessment to prove her progress and curate her training.
Progress Guaranteed ✅
While I can’t conjure up a magical forcefield to ensure your gymnast never so much as stubs her toe again (I would if I could) what I can do is promise you this: if her form does not improve ON PAPER within 3 months, you don’t pay.
I don’t want your money if I can’t help.
Created by a body awareness coach ❤️🩹
Hi! I’m Coach Sarah.
Sarah Petersen is a gymnast, aerialist, mom, and gymnastics coach of +15 years. She created these programs after dislocating her elbow and dealing with years of pain that traditional training never solved. She is an NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist, and she’s on a mission to help athletes stay strong, injury-free, and confident… for life.
(She also plans to keep her standing tuck forever. 😉)
🗺️ Training Map
3 months 💪🏼
This is when your athlete says, “I feel the difference!”
Within 3 months of coaching curated to your athlete, she learns to stabilize her joints, get out of pain, and improve her balance.
Got ankle pain or wobbles on beam? This phase is where they get kicked to the curb.
6 months 💥
This is when your athlete gets to take ownership of her body.
Within 6 months of coaching, your athlete EXPANDS to build her cardio, strength, & power.
We track her lower body power as she learns to link her workouts directly to her skills.
1 year 💖
This is when confidence becomes unshakeable.
Within 1 year of coaching, your athlete knows exactly how to regulate her emotions and give herself grace.
She becomes a cool, calm tumbling machine, doing what she loves.
Why Now? ⏳
Every month you wait, your athlete risks:
❌ Reinforcing poor movement patterns
❌ Turning small pains into lifelong injuries
❌ Losing the confidence she deserves
Don’t wait until she’s forced to stop doing what she loves,
Why it works 💖
(…when physical therapy & conditioning doesn’t)
🤕 Many athletes aren’t told how their conditioning exercises help their actual sport. This program makes sure your athlete understands her body on and beyond the gym floor.
❤️🩹 PT focuses on healing, not athletic progression. Getting back to “normal” is one thing. Unlocking her full potential is another!
👯♀️ Team conditioning is not curated to your athlete. It may even worsen imbalances or skip injury-prevention altogether.
💖 This program trains the whole athlete in ways she can apply immediately—joint stability on beam, symmetry in flexibility, functional strength, & fun!

Want to learn more? Let’s chat.
In order to save time & make sure it’s a good fit, book a private call. I’ll ask a few questions about your athlete to get a clearer picture of what she can expect.
Not sure if this is the right fit?
Let me answer some commonly asked questions.
How is this any different than PT or what my athlete does in practice?
Physical therapy is focused on healing back to “normal,” not necessarily preventing injuries from happening again. Conditioning during practice is about making the team strong. The body awareness goal is to prevent injuries based on specific movement & come back from them stronger than ever!
What do I actually get out of this?
Your athlete will understand her body on a fundamental level. What that means for her is that she can raise her threshold of when injury occurs and adjust her body to avoid them. And the real value here is that she gets to use this expertise beyond just making her skills look pretty. She will have tools for LIFE to train to her peak, even beyond her time in a leotard. And mom and dad? You get to go back to taking cool videos in the bleachers and not worrying about which flip will be your child’s breaking point.
Why now?
The best time to learn body awareness is BEFORE your athlete gets injured––or learns poor form on a new skill. The second best time is before her pain & injuries get so bad, they kick her out of the sport––or worse, crush her confidence and leave her with lifelong physical problems from oh-so-avoidable things.
If my athlete is currently injured, is this right for me?
It depends. If your athlete is heavily restricted, she will need to be cleared by a physical therapist first. If she is currently in physical therapy but cleared for light exercise, I recommend setting up a free chat with me first to make sure. If her issues are more like chronic pain, we can ususally work around them.
What type of athletes do you work with?
I work with gymnasts, cheerleaders, aerialists, dancers, acro, trampolinists, stunt performers… all artistic athletes.
Does my athlete need to be a certain age or level to work with you?
I have a minimum age of 7 and a maximum of 120 😉 They do not have to be any particular level. Beginners, rec & Xcel athletes, and elite-track athletes all benefit from body awareness and are trained according to their skill level and goals.
Do you work with boys?
Yes. My heaviest background is in women’s artistic gymnastics, but I do work with male artistic athletes as well.
Do you work with adults?
Yes. Many of my clients are adults––either former artistic athletes or newbies to the sport, looking to continue progressing without injuring themselves!
Why should I trust you?
I’m Coach Sarah, a former competitive gymnast, current aerialist, coach of over 15 years, and a mom of 1.5 little tumbling ladies. I’m also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist who has worked with gyms across the country (and athletes around the globe) to keep their athletes strong, confident, safe, and THRIVING.
But I was also once a struggling gymnast.
ACE bandages on both knees, both ankles, a metal contraption on my post-dislocated elbow, and popping a couple doctor-prescribed Ibuprofens was my pre-practice ritual.
At 14 years old.
And it only takes a 14-year-old to recognize that path was NOT sustainable.
I needed to increase my body awareness to solve my own problems, but it wasn’t until I started training unconventionally––BLENDING the two worlds of artistic sports & corrective exercise––that I really saw a breakthrough.
And when I started using these techniques on the kids I coached––well, the rest is history. Kids started gaining confidence. They quit quitting. And we had fewer injuries, wraps, and pain points than any gym around.
How will I know she’s getting better?
It’ll be hard to miss! Usually even the coaches start to ask what the sudden change is. Aside from that, the program starts with an initial movement assessment, which her program will be based off of. Each month, we’ll check in face-to-face for form, goals, and pep talks. Every 6 weeks, we’ll reassess, comparing her form to the last assessment, to make sure progress is going well and what we need to adjust.
How does the app work?
You set the preferred days for workouts, and they’ll be programmed in. After that, your athlete will log into her app, click her workout for the day, and read the personalized goals, cues, and tips. She’ll watch the demo videos from actual youth athletes, and then she’ll CRUSH it, all on her own time.
How much time does it take?
She will get 3 workouts per week. Each workout takes about 30 minutes. She will also receive ~2–3 virtual coaching calls with me per month.
What equipment do I need?
It can all be done at home with just some dumbbells, a foam roller, and some resistance bands.
How often does she meet with Coach Sarah?
It works out to about 3 calls per month. Every 6 weeks, she will do a progress assessment to check her form & power. She will have another meeting following each assessment to go over her results & what they mean for her workout plan moving forward. She will also have Encouragement Calls to go over form, mindset, & skills. Encouragement calls are scheduled once per month (unless additional support is needed).
What if I have a question?
You have 24/7 messaging access to me––which includes video! You are welcome to ask questions on form, modifications, etc at any time, and even send videos if you’d like me to double check in real time. Still need help? We’ll double down to make sure both you and your athlete are feeling confident during each virtual check-in.
What happens when the training ends?
If you choose to stop coaching, your athlete will have access to her program forever––it was made for her! If you’d like to continue training, I offer an exclusive maintenance plan for anyone who has completed through the Power-Up Program.
Can I add more coaching later?
Yes, you can always add on to continue training (most clients end up working with me at least one year).
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. There are monthly payment plans as well as financing options through Affirm (up to 36 months). It does not affect your credit to check your eligibility.
Is this covered by insurance?
Potentially. You may be able to get a letter of medical necessity from your doctor to validate using your HSA or FSA account. For help getting this set up, I am happy to walk you through it.
How can I get started?
If you’re ready to go all-in and get your athlete the CONFIDENCE she deserves, let’s not waste any more time.
If you’d like to get a full scope of her movement first, you can schedule an initial assessment. (Your booking fee will be taken off of your full program).
If you still have questions, you can book a free chat with me.
