Body Awareness

CHALLENGE ✨

Fix floppy form & prevent injuries––even when the coach isn’t around.

This is for you if:

✅ Your athlete struggles with coach corrections

Coach pokes her in the ribs and says, “no arching!” or “straighten your legs!” but your athlete doesn’t seem to feel when these form breaks happen.

✅ You want to avoid injuries

Strong tumbling, solid landings, graceful dance, and keeping your athlete out of physical therapy and surgery is your ultimate goal.

✅ Her confidence could be better

Your athlete finally wants to put that handspring on the beam, but she deals with fear, perfectionism, or holding herself back to avoid pain or embarrassment.

✅ You don’t know how to help

You know your athlete is working hard, but coach’s corrections aren’t sticking. Maybe this whole gymnastics/cheer/dance thing is a little bit out of your wheelhouse, too.

Not sure if this challenge is right for you?

Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions.

Do I have to watch live?

Since this is a challenge for taking action, I highly encourage you to watch live if you can. That said, there will be replays available until the Sunday evening following the challenge.

How is this any different than what my athlete gets in practice?

Conditioning during practice is about making the team strong, but there’s not enough time for the individual athlete. The Body Awareness goal is to improve confidence prevent injuries based on specific movement & come back from them stronger than ever!

What’s in it for me?

You’ll have tools for LIFE to look out for your athlete both in the gym and beyond. Besides physical exercises to get your athlete started, you’ll learn the right “gymnastics-y, dancey,  cheery” questions to ask your athlete’s doctors, coaches to keep her confident and safe.

Why now?

The best time to learn body awareness is BEFORE your athlete gets injured––or learns poor form on a new skill. The second best time is before her pain & injuries get so bad, they kick her out of the sport––or worse, crush her confidence and leave her with lifelong physical problems from oh-so-avoidable things. Confidence can start today!

If my athlete is currently injured, is this right for me?

Yes! Most of what you’ll learn you and your athlete can apply immediately, regardless of if she’s in a full-body cast or healthy as can be. Having the toolbox of tips on hand is her first big step to return-to-sport.

Why should I trust you?

I’m Coach Sarah, a former competitive gymnast, current aerialist, coach of over 15 years, and a mom of 1.5 little tumbling ladies. I’m also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist who has worked with gyms across the country (and athletes around the globe) to keep their athletes strong, confident, safe, and THRIVING.

But I was also once a struggling gymnast.

ACE bandages on both knees, both ankles, a metal contraption on my post-dislocated elbow, and popping a couple doctor-prescribed Ibuprofens was my pre-practice ritual.

At 14 years old.

And it only takes a 14-year-old to recognize that path was NOT sustainable.

I needed to increase my body awareness to solve my own problems, but it wasn’t until I started training unconventionally––BLENDING the two worlds of artistic sports & corrective exercise––that I really saw a breakthrough.

And when I started using these techniques on the kids I coached––well, the rest is history. Kids started gaining confidence. They quit quitting. And we had fewer injuries, wraps, and pain points than any gym around.

How does this work?

Sign up for the Body Awareness Challenge, and finally get your athlete to FEEL the things that need fixing.

Whether you’re a cheer dad, a dance mom, or a gymnastics aunt, you’ll learn invaluable ways to look out for your child, even if tumbling and twirling isn’t your area of expertise.

The more you learn, the more confidence you can provide you athlete.

How can I get started?

This is the most accessible way to get coached by an injury prevention specialist.

A personal body awareness assessment is $250.

My individual programs start at $4987.

My Elite Program is $15K.

The price tag on this challenge is meant for everyone to have access. Because everyone deserves to understand their bodies.

Here are your two options ✌🏼

And here are your other options...

😐 Do nothing, & hope your athlete figures it out.

Here are the facts:

86% of gymnasts report suffering from back pain.

65% of ALL female catastrophic sports injuries happen to cheerleaders.

Over 80% of dancers report at least one injury per season.

Over 90% of elite gymnasts experience at least one injury per season.

Over 40% of injuries in gymnastics are from overuse (in other words TOTALLY PREVENTABLE)

But if you want to keep your child from adding to the statistics, there are 2 other options…

🤔 Figure it out yourself.

You can keep shouting “straighten your legs!” hoping something will change. Or going to that fancy-pants chiropractor, cold laser therapy, and watching your athlete pop Advil until the end of time. Not only is it going to add up in recovery “band-aid” costs for these specialists, your athlete’s surgeries, (and not to mention wasted tuition fees just to save your athlete’s spot on the bench)––but it’s also wreaking havoc on her joints the longer the mystery stays unsolved.

If you find a good combo of specialists for a small fortune, you might be able to keep her healthy yourself.

🕵🏼‍♀️ Let the Body Awareness Challenge solve the mystery.

You’ll finally figure out the key to making the “straight legs, pointed toes, push through your toes” cues STICK.

You’ll be the most informed parent on the team, have the kid with the most PRODUCTIVE time in the gym, and be able to relax knowing you’ve got your angel wings wrapped around your athlete, keeping her safe and healthy.

All you need to do is save your seat and make it happen.

If you’ve read this far along, you probably have even more questions.

So I’ll see you in that VIP room to answer them and give you a personalized dose of body awareness.

See you soon!
